Author: Tim Seldin

Book Summary

This book offers a practical approach to Montessori for children at home. It gives activities that mainly can be done at home and for older children. The book focuses on children ages 3-6 though also has activities for the 0-3 age group.

It is written simply and clearly, easily understandable. Photos are an essential part of the book that can give parents practical approach to implementing Montessori at home.

The author also explains the Montessori approach and discusses if Montessori is the right one for you and your child. It discusses how to help your child become independent, nourish that curious and exploratory nature of the child, and starting to teach them math, reading and writing at home with ideas for simple activities that one can do with their own children.

Highly recommended.
